Kartki pełne elegancji / Filled With Elegance

Wkrótce będzie można zakupić za pośrednictwem Create&Craft TV kolejne zestawy ScrapBerry's. Każdy zestaw promocyjny bazuje na jednej kolekcji i składa się z kilku papierów i zestawów stempli, kwiatów, perełek i kryształków. Na dzisiaj mam dla Was kilka kartek promujących kit kolekcji Elegy:
Soon new cardmaking kits by ScrapBerry's will be available through the Create&Craft TV. Each kit is based on one collection and contains a couple of papers and sets of stamps, flowers, pearls and crystals. Today I have a couple of cards featuring the Elegy kit:

Starałam się pokazać możliwości zestawu, dlatego też tylko w jednej kartce użyłam dodatkowo sznureczka, wszystkie pozostałe elementy są w zestawie:
I tried to show the kit's potential, so only in one card I added a piece of string, all the other elements come from the set:

Together We So Rock - Maja Design Moodboard

Jak zawsze na początku miesiąca, na blogu Maja Design pojawiło się nowe wyzwanie z tablicą inspiracyjną. Tym razem stawiamy na prace w męskim stylu :-) 
As always at the beginning of the month, there's a new moodboard challenge on the Maja Design blog. This time we aim at masculine projects :-) 

Jak zwykle, starałam się ściśle trzymać wytycznych:
And, as usually, I tried to follow the requirements closely:

Wybrałam papiery z różnych kolekcji, naniosłam strukturalny wzór cegiełek z maski:
I chose papers from various collections, added a textured brick pattern using a stencil:

...dodałam tekturki, stemple...
...some chipboards, stamps...

...buttony i washi tape:

Tytuł potuszowałam tak, by uzyskać efekt ombre:
I inked the title to get an ombre effect:

Pomimo wielu warstw LO jest raczej płaski - pewnie dlatego, że nie ma kwiatów ;-))
Despite many layers the LO is rather flat - I guess that's because I didn't include any flowers ;-))

Ślubny shabby chic / Wedding Shabby Chic Cards

Na mój dzisiejszy post dla Maja Design przygotowałam dwie kartki ślubne w stylu shabby chic - wszak już za chwilę pełnia sezonu ślubnego :-) Obie kartki powstały z kolekcji Vintage Spring Basics, na obu umieściłam tekturki w roli głównej i rzadko spotykany w ślubnych pracach fiolet :-)
For my today's post for Maja Design I created two shabby chic wedding cards - after all, the peak of the wedding season will come soon :-) Both are made using the Vintage Spring Basics collection, both feature chipboard motives in the main role and purple tones, rather rare in wedding cards :-)

Pierwszą zrobiłam w formacie DL, by zmieścił się cytat i kompozycja kwiatowa. Elementy te umieściłam na szerokiej koronce i dodałam serduszkową zawieszkę:
The first is in the DL size so that both the chipboard quotation and the flower cluster have enough space. I placed them upon a wide piece of lace and added the heart-shaped charm:

Druga jest mniejsza, bo tekturowa "scenka" mówi sama za siebie ;-)
The other card is smaller, as the chipboard scene explains it all ;-)

Wczoraj ruszyło w Craft4You nowe wyzwanie - tym razem zadanie polega na wykonaniu kartki z określoną liczbą elementów. Przyznam, że nie było mi łatwo, bo jak wiecie, nie oszczędzam na dodatkach ;-) Oto efekt moich zmagań:
Yesterday a new challenge started at Craft4You - this time the task is to make a card with a required number of elements. I must admit it wasn't easy, because as you know, I don'y really limit myself with embellishments ;-) And here's the result of my struggle:

Dozwolona liczba to 5-7, i oczywiście ledwo zmieściłam się, używając: mgiełek, stempli:
The number of embellies allowed is 5 to 7 and of course I only managed to squeeze in using: mists, stamps:

...wycięty gorset i ćwiek...
...a cut-out corset and brad...

...kwiat, suknię z gazy i brokat:
...a flower, cheesecloth dress and glitter:

Live The Moments

...czyli mapka i kolory raz jeszcze ;-)
...i.e. the sketch and colours again ;-)

Pomysł na realizację mapki przygotowanej dla Primy przez moją utalentowaną koleżankę Jen Snyder miałam od razu, jak tylko się pojawił na blogu. Ale czas niestety nie należy do bogactw, które mam w nadmiarze ;-) więc oczywiście, rzutem na taśmę  (ale i z tego się cieszę  :-))
I had the idea for this sketch that my talented friend Jen Snyder prepared for Prima from the moment it appeared on their blog. Time, however, doesn't belong to goods I have in excess ;-) so of course, at the last moment...(but I'm grateful for that too :-))

Jak zwykle u mnie, mapkę odwzorowałam dość wiernie. Na LO pomieszałam kolekcje zamierzchłe (papiery) i te nowsze (dodatki). Jak widać, współpracują idealnie :-)
As usually with me, I realised the sketch quite faithfully. I mixed the "ancient" collections (papers) with the current ones (embellies). As you can see, the cooperation is perfect :-)

Pomiędzy warstwami papierów umieściłam kwiaty i koronki - jedna z nich ma falisty brzeg, któy moim zdaniem świetnie pasuje do strzępiastych krawędzi dartych papierów :-)
I tucked flowers and lace in between the paper layers - one of the laces has a wavy edge that I think perfectly matches the edges of the torn papers :-)

Pobawiłam się też w hydraulika ;-)
I also played a plumber ;-)

A co do kolorów - nie chciały się odczepić, ta paleta jak dla mnie stworzona ;-)) Tym razem wykorzystałam ją do LO :-)
As for the colours - I just couldn't get them out of my head, the palette is like made to measure for me ;-)) This time I employed it for the LO :-)

Dream - The Scrapbook Diaries

Mój trzeci kit dla The Scrapbook Diaries właśnie trafił na półki :-)  W tym zestawie znaleźć można słodki, delikatny róż papierów , kwiaty i subtelne ozdoby. Razem stanowią idealne tło dla zdjęcia mojej ślicznej siostrzenicy ciotecznej:
My third designer kit for The Scrapbook Diaries has just hit the store :-) In this set you will find sweet, delicate pinks, lots of flowers and subtle embellies. Together they made a perfect background for the photo of my beautiful niece:

Gdy zaczynałam przygodę ze scrapbookingiem, liście szkieletowe były hitem! :-) Teraz znów wracają do łask:
When I was beginning my scrapbooking adventure, skeleton leaves were a hit! :-) Now they seem to return:

Zależało mi na efekcie lekkości, delikatności i dziewczęcego uroku, stąd też gaza, motyw ptaka i piór, filigranowe wycinanki, brokatowy blask, przestrzenność...
I aimed at an effect of lightness, delicacy and girly charm, thus the cheesecloth, bird and feathers motives, filigree diecut, dimension...

...oraz tytuł LO, który uplotłam z Primowego drutu, a następnie potuszowałam dla lepszej widoczności:
...as well as the title of the LO that I shaped from the Prima wire and inked for a better visibility:

Oprócz materiałów widocznych na scrapie kit zawiera również szczegółową instrukcję krok po kroku oraz bonusowy layout autorstwa Janene :-)
Apart from the stuff you can see used in the LO, the kit contains a step-by-step tutorial and a bonus layout by Janene :-)

Ślubne zielenie / Wedding Greens

Z braku czasu rzadko biorę udział w wyzwaniach, a jeśli już, to częściej korzystam z mapek Primy niż wyzwań kolorystycznych. Ale czyż takiej palecie można się oprzeć? No nie można po prostu! :-)
Due to lack of time I rarely participate in challenges, and if so, I choose Prima sketch challenges rather than colour palettes. But can you resist such a combo? No, you simply can't! :-)

Oprócz kilku warstw papieru, tło mojej kartki stanowi plastikowa podkładka pod zestaw kwiatów - pamiętacie te kolekcje?
Apart from several layers of papers, I used the plastic pad from a Prima flower set as the background:

Z kalki wycięłam wykrojnikiem serwetkę...
I die-cut a vellum doily...

...a z drucika uformowałam serce i dodałam kwiaty i kryształki:
...and formed a piece of wire into a heart and added flowers and crystals:

Kartka jest przyjemnie przestrzenna :-)
The card is nicely dimensional :-)

I to jeszcze nie koniec na dzisiaj ;-) Zajrzyjcie wieczorem!
