Today I'm sharing the second layout I made using the July Limited Edition kit from My Creative Scrapbook, featuring the Spectrum Sherbet collection by 49&Market:

Chociaż pojawia się tu cień kolorów tęczy, to jednak layout w dużej mierze jest pomarańczowy, co pasuje do zdjęć z potrójnych urodzin chłopaków :-)

Although there's a hint of rainbow colours, the layout is mostly orange, which matches the photos of our boys' triple birthdays :-)

Sweet - My Creative Scrapbook

 I oto z prawdziwą przyjemnością przedstawiam lipcowy kit Limited Edition od My Creative Scrapbook :-) W tym miesiącu kit oparty jest na kolekcji Spectrum Sherbet od 49&Market (papiery, ephemera, die-cuty, kwiaty) z dodatkiem maski Vicki Boutin. Zestaw nieco trudny dla mnie, bo mnóstwo w nim żółci i pomarańczu, których nie lubię - ale za to uwielbiam produkty 49&Market, więc jakoś poszło :-)) Oto pierwszy layout:

It is with great pleasure that I bring you the July Limited Edition kit from My Creative Scrapbook :-) This month's kit is based upon the Spectrum Sherbet collection by 49&Market (papers, ephemera, die-cuts, flowers) and a Vicki Boutin stencil. The kit was somewhat difficult for me as there's plenty of yellow and orange in it, which are not my favourites, but I love 49&Market products, so the work was done :-)) Here's the first layout:

Jak widać, całkiem wyszłam tu ze swojej strefy komfortu, tworząc żółtą pracę :-)) Do wzoru papieru, na którym opiera się kompozycja, dodałam tuszowany wzór z maski, a całość uzupełniłam cekinami z własnych zbiorów.

As you can see, I totally left my comfort zone here and created a yellow project :-)) I added inked stencil pattern to the paper pattern that defined the composition, and completed the whole design with sequins from my stash.

Złote Gody II / Gold Anniversary II

A dzisiaj - druga z kartek, jakie przygotowałam na 50. rocznicę ślubu moich Teściów.

Today I'm sharing the second of the cards I made for my Parents-in law 50th wedding anniversary.

Tym razem postawiłam na nieco bardziej "młodzieżowy styl" i złoto w połączeniu z kartonem kraft. Kawałek kremowego kartonu embossowałam, a następnie wycięłam z niego serce, dodając do serca złotego i ułożyłam jako tło dla cyferek i arkylowych obrączek. Całość uzupełniłam kompozycją kwiatową i inicjałami jubilatów:

This time I opted for a more "youthful" style and combined gold with kraft papers. I also embossed a piece of ecru cardstock, die cut a heart shape out of it and added a gold heart, thus making a background for the digits and acrylic wedding rings. I completed my design with a flower cluster and the celebrants' initials:

Kartka jest dość przestrzenna, dodałam więc pudełko ozdobione taśmą washi:

The card turned out pretty dimensional, so I put it in a kraft box decorated with washi tape:

Cieszę się, że obie kartki spodobały się moim Teściom :-) Mam nadzieję, że i Wam się podobają!

I was happy to learn my Parents-in law liked both cards :-) I hope you liked them too!

Złote Gody / Gold Anniversary

Niedawno moi Teściowie obchodzili Złote Gody i miałam przyjemność przygotować dla Nich aż dwie kartki z tej okazji :-) Oto pierwsza z nich:

My parents-in-law have recently celebrated their Gold Anniversary and I've had the pleasure of making two cards for them :-) Here's the first one:

Kartka w stylu vintage, z koronką, cała w złocie: matowym, perłowym i błyszczącym :-)

A vintage-style card with lace, all in gold: matte, pearl and shiny :-)

Ślubnie w bieli i złocie / A White And Gold Wedding Card

Początek lata oznacza również najgorętszy okres sezonu ślubnego, dlatego też na mój dzisiejszy post dla Agaterii przygotowałam ślubną kartkę w delikatnej kolorystyce:

The beginning of summer means also the hottest part of the wedding season, therefore for my today's post for Agateria I created a wedding card in a delicate colour palette:

Na papierze tła umieściłam piękną, owalną ramkę, wewnątrz której ułożyłam tekturkowy napis embossowany złotym pudrem:

Upon the background paper I placed a beautiful oval frame and inside it I put a chipboard sentiment embossed with gold ep:

Następnie dodałam kompozycję kwiatową, uzupełniając ją motywami z zestawu magnolii, odbitymi na kalce i embossowanymi białym i złotym pudrem:

Then I added the flower cluster stamped on vellum and embossed with white and gold ep:

Podziękowania dla nauczycieli / Thank You Teacher Cards

I nadszedł wreszcie ten dzień, na który czekały rzesze uczniów, nauczycieli i rodziców - koniec roku szkolnego :-)) Z tej okazji przygotowałam kartki z podziękowaniami dla nauczycieli. Kartki powstały z najnowszej kolekcji Everyday Life od Maja Design, z dodatkiem stempla, maski i tekturek Agaterii, dlatego też przedstawiłam je w moich postach DT dla jednej i drugiej firmy :-))

Here comes the day that so many students, teachers and parents awaited - the end of the school year :-)) I created thank you teachers cards for thay occasion. I made the card using the latest Maja Design collection, Everyday Life, with Agateria stamp, stencil and chipboard pieces, therefore I shared them in my DT post for the former and the latter :-))

 

Do pierwszej kartki wykorzystałam tekturki embossowane złotym pudrem - dodają elegancji prostej kompozycji:

In the first card I used chipboard elements embossed with gold ep - they add elegance to the simple design:

Na tle drugiej kartki naniosłam wzór z maski przezroczystą brokatową pastą - dodaje błysku i faktury, nie zasłaniając przy tym wzoru na papierze. Następnie dodałam tekturki, a w centrum umieściłam stemplowany motyw książek ozdobiony techniką paper-piecing:

In the second card I applied a stencil pattern upon the background paper using translucent glitter paste - it added glam and texture while not obscuring the paper pattern. Then I added chipboard pieces and in the centre I put a stamped books image, decorated with the paper-piecing technique:

Kartka dla Taty / Father's Day Card

W czerwcowym kalendarium znajduje się kolejne ważne, rodzinne święto - Dzień Ojca. I z tej właśnie okazji przygotowałam kartkę, którą pokazałam w moim dzisiejszym poście DT dla Agaterii:

The June celebration calendar includes another important family holiday - Father's Day. And for that occasion I made a card that I shared in my DT post for Agateria:

Kartka powstała z różnych resztek papierów i kwiatów, a główną rolę grają w niej nowe stemple oraz tekturki. Serce z trybików i napis pomalowałam złotą akrylówką, a stemple odbiłam, embossowałam złotym pudrem i wycięłam, a następnie umieściłam w kompozycji kwiatowej.

I made the card using various paper and flower leftovers, while the main role belongs to Agateria new stamps and chipboard pieces. The gear heart and sentiment are covered with gold acrylic paint, and the stamps embossed with gold ep and cut out. Then I put them into the flower cluster.

Całość jest dość przestrzenna, dlatego kartka wymaga pudełka.

The card turned out quite dimensional, so it requires a box.

Cherish Simple Moments

Na mój dzisiejszy post dla Maja Design przygotowałam layout z najnowszej kolekcji, Everyday Life:

For my today's post for Maja Design I created a layout using the latest Everyday Life collection:

Po raz pierwszy wśród papierów MD znajdują się arkusze z elementami do wycinania: obrazki, ale i pojedyncze słowa, z których można układać dowolne teksty :-) U mnie powstał w ten sposób tytuł, a w kompozycji znalazły się również wycięte kwiaty i rowerki:

For the first time MD papers feature sheets with cut out elements, and not only images but also single words that can be composed into texts :-) And so I used them for my title and added cut-out flowers and bikes into my design:
