Be Happy

Dzisiaj przypada najbardziej miłosny dzień roku - Walentynki :-) - ale tak się składa, że to również dzień urodzin mojej siostry. Chociaż dzisiaj nie przynoszę Wam walentynkowej kartki, to jednak post i tak będzie z miłosnym wątkiem. W ramach prezentu bowiem zrobiłam dla siostry ramkę z jej zdjęciami z synem - a więc utrwalona rodzinna miłość, no i sam prezent zrobiony z serca ;-) Ramka powstała z połączenia produktów Agaterii i Maja Design w ramach moich obowiązków DT :-)

Today is the most love-filled day - St. Valentine's :-) - but it so happens it's also my sister's birthday. And though I don't bring you a love you card today, the post is still going to be filled with love, as I made her a photo frame for a gift, featuring her photos with her son - so it's family love preserved and the present itself was made with love too ;-) I made the frame combining Agateria's and Maja Design's products within my DT duties :-)

Bazą mojej ramki jest tarcza zegara z HDF - w Agateriowym sklepie znajdziecie kilka ich wersji i rozmiarów. Ramkę pokryłam czarnym gesso, a następnie odbiłam na niej wzór kropek i tekstu i embossowałam te motywy rdzawym i diamentowym pudrem. 

I used a HDF clockface piece as the base for my frame - you can find several sizes and variants in the Agateria store. I covered the frame with black gesso and then stamped it with polka dots and text motives and embossed them with rust and diamond eps:

Na tak przygotowanym tle ułożyłam warstwową kompozycję papierów z kolekcji Bohemian Harmony od Maja Design i uzupełniłam ją o kwiatowe motywy: tekturkowe kwiaty ażurowe embossowane diamentowym pudrem oraz stemplowane magnolie, które embossowałam diamentowym i różowo-złotym pudrem, a następnie wycięłam. 

Upon that bacgkround I layered the photo composition using Bohemian Harmony collection by Maja Design and completed it with flower motives: chipboard filigree flowers embossed with diamond ep and stamped magnolias which I embossed with diamond and pink gold powders and cut out:

Na koniec dodałam metalowe wskazówki i akrylowe kamyczki i mój prezent był gotowy - nie zabrakło też motywu serca :-)

I finished my gift frame with metal clock hands and acrylic stones - and there's a heart motif too :-)

Kartka z miłością / A Card With Love

Dzisiaj przynoszę Wam kolejną kartkę, która wyraża uczucia nie tylko z okazji Walentynek :-)

Today I bring you another card that can express your feelings not only on St. Valentine's Day :-)

Kartka powstała z połączenia kolekcji Chocolate Kiss od Mintay Papers i kraftowego kartonu w złote paski. Kompozycję ozdobną ułożyłam z wyciętych elementów papierowych i bordowych hortensji z dodatkiem buttona z zegarem i embossowanego na złoto napisu od Lemonade. 

I made the card using a combo of the Chocolate Kiss collection by Mintay Papers and kraft cardstock with gold strips pattern. I arranged the decorative cluster of cut-out paper images and dep red hyndrangeas, adding also a clock face button and a stamped sentiment by Lemonade, embossed with gold ep:

Jak widać, kartka jest dość warstwowa, mimo to z łatwością zmieści się w kopercie :-) 

As you can see, the card turned out pretty dimensional, but nevertheless will easily fit into an envelope :-)

Kartka walentynkowa / St. Valentine's Card

I oto mamy ostatni dzień stycznia, a to oznacza, że za dwa tygodnie będą Walentynki ;-) Ukochanej osobie na pewno miło będzie otrzymać z tej okazji kartkę, zwłaszcza taką ręcznie robioną. A tę, którą Wam dzisiaj przynoszę, zrobicie łatwo i całkiem szybko z pomocą Agateriowych produktów, kartka bowiem powstała w ramach moich projektów DT:

So here we are, on the last day of January, which means St. Valentine's Day comes in a fortnight ;-) A beloved person would be happy to receive a card on that occasion, especially a handmade one. And you can make the card I bring you today quite easily and quickly with the help of Agateria products as I made the card as my DT project:

Najpierw na panelu tła naniosłam tuszem wzór z maski, a potem wzór serduszkowych girland przy pomocy kolejnej maski  i złotej pasty:

First I applied a stencil pattern with ink upon the background panel, and then added a heart garlands patttern using another stencil and golden paste:

Po wyschnięciu pasty ułożyłam dwa baloniki z tekturki - jeden pokolorowałam markerem, a drugi embossowałam diamentowym pudrem. 

When the paste dried I added two chipboarch balloons - one coloured with a pink marker and the other embossed with diamond ep.

Dodałam też napis złożony z napisu wyciętego wykrojnikiem i stemplowanego:

 Then I combined the sentiment using a die cut words and a stamped sentiment:

Na koniec dodałam kilka serduszek i cekinów i gotowe. Proste, prawda? :-)

I finished the card off with a  couple of hearts and sequins. Easy peasy, isn't it? :-)

Ramka z błogosławieństwem / A Frame With A Blessing

Na sklepowe półki Agaterii wskoczyły właśnie pierwsze nowości w tym roku - cała kolekcja stempli z życzeniami na różne okazje. Wśród nich znajdziecie stempel z biblijnym błogosławieństwem - wprost idealny na kartki z okazji Chrztu św., Pierwszej Komunii, Bierzmowania, ale również jako dobre Słowo z każdej okazji. Dzisiaj przynoszę Wam inspirację z tym właśnie stemplem, w postaci prezentu-błogosławieństwa w ramce, który pokazałam dzisiaj w moim poście DT:

The first release of this year has just hit the Agateria store - a whole series of well wishes stamps for various occasions. Among them you can find a Bible blessing stamp - just perfect for Baptism, First Communion or Confirmation cards, but also as the Word on any occasion. And today I bring you my inspiration featuring this stamp - a gift frame with the blessing that I shared in my DT post today:

Najpierw docięłam kilka arkuszy papieru na warstwowe tło i na czarnym kartonie górnej warstwy naniosłam elegancki wzór rombów z kropkami złotą brokatową pastą. 

First I cut a couple of cardstock sheets for a layered bacgkround and applied an elegant diamond dot pattern with a stencil and gold glitter paste.  

Na tak przygotowanym tle umieściłam panel ze stemplowanym tekstem błogosławieństwa, a następnie ozdobiłam go białymi kwiatami przestrzennymi oraz magnoliami stemplowanymi na czarnym i biało-złotym kartonie i embossowanymi diamentowym i złotym pudrem.

Upon that layer I placed the stamped blessing and decorated it with dimensional white flowers and magnolias stamped on black and white-gold cardstock and embossed with diamond and gold ep: 

W narożniku panelu z błogosławieństwem umieściłam misterny ornament z tekturki, embossowany diamentowym pudrem, który posłużył za ramkę dla metalowego krzyżyka:

In the upper corner of the blessing panel I put a filigree chipboard ornament embossed with diamond ep, which serves as a frame for a metal cross:

Tak przygotowaną kompozycję włożyłam do przestrzennej ramki. Całość utrzymana jest w eleganckiej, czarno-biało-złotej kolorystyce, przez co pasować będzie do wielu wnętrz. 

Then I put the composition into a dimensional frame. I used the elegant black-white-gold colour palette for the blessing so that it matches many interior designs.

Cała w zieleni / All Green

Z powodu ciągnącej się szarugi za oknem zatęskniło mi się za wiosną! A że ostatnio przeglądając zapasy zauważyłam sporo zielonych dodatków w różnych odcieniach, postanowiłam zrobić taką całą zieloną, wiosenną kartkę ;-) A przy okazji wypróbować nowe wykrojniki:

Due to this lingering dull weather I felt a wave of longing for the spring! While going through my stash lately I've found some embellies in various shades of green and so I decided to make an all-green springy card ;-) And also try out a new dies set:

Sporo tu naprawdę starych dodatków, jak te świetne UHK-owe motyle (jasne, że mam wszystkie wersje kolorystyczne!), materiałowe ćwieki, tekstylne kwiaty czy tasiemki vintage (kiedyś był na te ozdoby prawdziwy szał)!

I added a lot of really old embellishments, such as these gorgeous UHK butterflies (of course I have them in all colour versions!), fabric brads and flowers or vintage ribbon (these were a true hit back then)!

Kartka jest uniwersalna ze względu na brak napisów czy tematycznych elementów. Jest też mocno przestrzenna, wymagać więc będzie pudełka. 

The card is universal due to the lack of sentiments or theme motives. It's also quite dimensional and needs a box.

Kartki dla Babci i Dziadka / Grandma and Grandpa's Day Cards

Aż trudno uwierzyć, że od Bożego Narodzenia minął już niemal miesiąc! - czas pędzi nieubłaganie i przed nami kolejne święto, Dzień Babci i Dziadka. Dlatego też przynoszę Wam dzisiaj kartkowe inspiracje na tę okazję, które zrobiłam przy pomocy materiałów DT od Agaterii i Maja Design. Kartki mają tę samą kompozycję i ten sam główny element - tekturkowe serduszko z napisem :-) - jednak zmiana kolorystyki i elementów ozdobnych powoduje, że każda ma swój charakter:

It's hard to believe Christmas was almost a month ago! - time flies really fast and we are heading for another celebration, Grandma's and Grandpa's Days. Therefore I bring you some card inspiration for this occasion, which I made using my DT stuff from Agateria and Maja Design. Both cards have the same design and main decorative element - a chipboard sentiment heart :-) - but just a change of the colour palette and embellishments make them each different:

W kartce dla Dziadka, w tonacji brązowo-zielonej, naniosłam na brązowy panel tła wzór z maski zielonym tuszem, by dodać głębi i nawiązać do pozostałych zielonych akcentów. Serce embossowałam złotym pudrem i ozdobiłam tekturkowymi trybikami, które z kolei embossowałam mieszanką białego, złotego i rdzawego pudru. Zachęcam Was do eksperymentowania z pudrami i tworzenia własnych mieszanek - wystarczy dosłownie po szczypcie proszku. By kartka nie wydawała się zbyt surowa, dodałam aksamitną wstążeczkę i bannerek w kratkę.

The cards have the same design and main decorative element - a chipboard sentiment heart :-) In the card for Grandpa, kept in browns and greens, I applied a stencil pattern upon the background panel with green ink to add depth and refer to other green accents. I embossed the heart with gold ep and decorated with chipboard gears that I embossed with a custom mix of white, gold and rust eps. I do recommend experimenting with your powders to create new colours and effects, only a pinch will do. In order for the card to look more elegant I added velvet ribbon and a plaid banner.

Kartka dla Babci zaś powstała z papierów Miles Apart Maja Design. Jest delikatna i romantyczna, dzięki różowej kolorystyce i kwiatowym motywom. W centrum serce embossowane pudrem różowe złoto, a zdobią je tekturkowe kwiaty embossowane diamentowym pyłem (uwielbiam ten puder!) oraz stemplowane magnolie: embossowałam je różowym złotem, pokolorowałam markerami wodnymi i wycięłam, układając je w kompozycję wokół serca. Delikatności dodaje również elegancka koronka. 

The card for Grandma was made using the Miles Apart collection by Maja Design. It's delicate and romantic due to pink hues and flower motives. The heart in the centre is embossed with pink gold ep and decorated with chipboard flowers embossed with diamond ep (I just love this powder!) and stamped magnolias. I embossed them with pink gold ep, coloured with watercolour markers and cut out. Delicate lace adds elegance.

Kolejna resztkowa / Another Leftovers Card

W związku z moim corocznym autowyzwaniem zużywania choć części skrawków i ścinek, dzisiaj przynoszę Wam kolejną kartkę resztkową na bazie kolekcji Mintayowych :-)

Following my annual autochallenge to use up at least some of the bits and pieces of my stuff, I bring you another leftovers card based on various Mintay Papers collections :-)

Na warstwach papierów ułożyłam ramkę z tekturki embossowaną mieszanką pudrów i dodałam kompozycję kwiatów przestrzennych oraz wyciętych z papieru, sznureczek i cekiny, zaś całość wieńczy napis wycięty wykrojnikiem w brokatowej piance.

Upon layers of papers I placed a chipboard frame embossed with a mix of eps and added a flower cluster including dimensional and cut-out flowers, waxwed string and sequins and topped it off with a sentiment die cut from glitter foam.

Kartka jest dość przestrzenna, zatem wymaga pudełka. I to będzie jedyny nowy element do niej użyty :-)

The card is quite dimensional and so it requires a box. And that would be the only new element of the card :-)

Santa's Helper

Już miałam schować uroczą świąteczną kolekcję Woodland Christmas od Maja Design, kiedy przeszukując foldery ze zdjęciami natknęłam się na wyjątkową fotkę, którą zresztą myślałam, że straciłam ;-) Dlatego nie zwlekając postanowiłam oprawić ją w layout, który Wam dzisiaj szybciutko przynoszę:

I was about to put away the charming Woodland Christmas collection by Maja Design when looking through my photo folders I came across a special photo that I thought I'd lost ;-) Therefore without much ado I decided to make a layout with it and I bring it to you today:

Jak wspomniałam, zdjęcie jest wyjątkowe. W początkach podstawówki Filip był bardzo nieśmiały, nie odzywał się nie pytany, nigdy nie "walczył" o swoje, miał problem z integracją w klasie. Dlatego też byłam w wielkim szoku, gdy w przeddzień św. Mikołaja przyszedł z prośbą o pomoc w skomponowaniu stroju elfa, bo chciał podczas wręczania prezentów przez Mikołaja w klasie grać na ukulele "Cichą noc". Sam wpadł na ten pomysł, sam się nauczył grać! Oczywiście z entuzjazmem pochwaliłam, przemilczałam czas na realizację, pomknęliśmy na zakupy i udało się dostać czapkę i skarpety, a Fifi był tak zdeterminowany, że nie zniechęcił go nawet fakt konieczności występu w samych rajtuzach, bo nie było czerwonych spodni ani legginsów.W szkole wzbudził sensację do tego stopnia, że Wychowawczyni nagrała telefonem filmik i nam wysłała, a inni nauczyciele "pożyczali" Filipa do swoich klas! To był punkt zwrotny w życiu społecznym Filipa, zyskał sporo na pewności siebie, zwłaszcza, gdy się okazało, że nikt w szkole nie umie grać na ukulele. Dobrze, że w tych emocjach i wzruszeniu zrobiłam zdjęcie Fifcia rano przed wyjściem do szkoły, ale potem nie mogłam znaleźć tej fotki. A tu proszę, 8 lat później -  jednak jest! :-))

As I mentioned above, the photo is truly special. In his early elementary school years Filip was very shy, never spoke unasked, never "fought" for himself, had difficulty intergrating with his class. Imagine my shock when the day before St. Nicholas Day he came asking for help in composing an elf outfit for him, as he wanted to play "Silent Night" on his uke during present giving in the classroom. Totally his idea, and he taught to play himself. Of course enthusiastically praised the concept, remained silent about the timing, we dashed to the store and managed to but the eared hat and socks. Fifi was so determined that even the fact he had to perform in cotton tights as we couldn't get red pants or leggins. He caused such a sensation in school that his class teacher sent us a film she recorded with her phone, and other teachers "borrowed" Filip into their classes! That was a turning point in Filip's social life, he gained so much self-confidence, especially when it turned out nobody in the school could play the uke. I was glad I didn't forget to take the photo in the morning before he went to school, but then I couldn't locate it on my computer. But right after the New Year, 8 years later, I suddenly found it! :-))
