Kartka z miłością / A Card With Love

Dzisiaj przynoszę Wam kolejną kartkę, która wyraża uczucia nie tylko z okazji Walentynek :-)

Today I bring you another card that can express your feelings not only on St. Valentine's Day :-)

Kartka powstała z połączenia kolekcji Chocolate Kiss od Mintay Papers i kraftowego kartonu w złote paski. Kompozycję ozdobną ułożyłam z wyciętych elementów papierowych i bordowych hortensji z dodatkiem buttona z zegarem i embossowanego na złoto napisu od Lemonade. 

I made the card using a combo of the Chocolate Kiss collection by Mintay Papers and kraft cardstock with gold strips pattern. I arranged the decorative cluster of cut-out paper images and dep red hyndrangeas, adding also a clock face button and a stamped sentiment by Lemonade, embossed with gold ep:

Jak widać, kartka jest dość warstwowa, mimo to z łatwością zmieści się w kopercie :-) 

As you can see, the card turned out pretty dimensional, but nevertheless will easily fit into an envelope :-)

Hej, kolęda kolęda! / Christmas Carol Cards

Przeglądając tematyczne materiały, jak co roku przed świątecznym kartkowaniem, zorientowałam się, że mam całkiem sporo stempli nawiązujących do kolęd. Tak powstała tegoroczna seria "kolędowa", z której na sesję zdążyły trzy sztuki ;-))

While I was looking through my Christmas-themed stuff, as each year before Christmas cardmaking, I realised I have a ton of carol-related stamps. And that's how I created my "Christmas carol" series, but just three of the lot got their pics taken ;-))

 

Wszystkie kartki mają podobną kompozycję: stemplowany i embossowany cytat z kolędy w centrum (stemple z Lemonade i Agaterii) na tle papieru "nutowego" Lemonade, z kompozycją z ręcznie robionych poinsecji z foamiranu i gałązek, z dodatkiem śnieżynek i kropelek emalii.

All cards share a similar design: a stamped and embossed Christmas carol quotation in the centre (stamps by Lemonade and Agateria), upon a "music score" background paper by Lemonade, with a cluster of handmade foamiran poinsettias and various leaves, finished off with snowflakes and enamel dots.

Jak wszystkie moje kartki świąteczne, te również mimo przestrzenności mieszczą się w kopercie :-)

As all my festive cards, these too fit into envelopes despite their dimension :-)

Kartka uniwersalna / An All-occasion Card

Czas płynie tak szybko, że wciąż go brak! Staram się nie dopuścić do opóźnień w publikacjach, ale po prostu czasami się nie da ;-) Dlatego dzisiaj kartka, która powstała już jakiś czas temu, ale dopiero dzisiaj doczekała się swojego debiutu w szerokim świecie ;-))

Time flies so quickly I always miss it! :-D I try my best not to let the blog fall behind, but sometimes I just can't help it. And so today I bring you a card that I made some time ago, but it goes public only today ;-))

Kartka z kategorii resztkowo - półproduktowej ;-) Patchworkowe tło wykonane wieeeeki temu znalazłam przy okazji porządków w szufladzie, kwiaty dostałam od Agnieszki Cebuli, kolorowane listki to nadprodukcja po tej kartce a pozostałe dodatki to resztki z różnych pudełek DT. I tak oto powstała kartka "ze wszystkiego" i na każdą okazję:

The card falls into the "leftover-premade bits" category ;-) I made this patchwork background aaaaages ago and found recently during drawer cleaning, the flowers are a gift from Agnieszka Cebula, the hand-coloured leaves are leftovers of this card, and the rest of the elements are various leftovers from my DT boxes. And so I made a "use anything" card for any occasion:

Album ślubny z liskami / Cute Foxes Wedding Album

W tym roku trudno nawet określić, jak się układają sezony poszczególnych uroczystości, bo przesunięciu uległo wiele imprez. Po chwilowej całkowitej przerwie od wesel śluby znów ruszyły, a wraz z nimi zamówienia na ślubne kartki i pamiątki. Dzisiaj ślubny album w wesołej kolorystyce, w którym głównym motywem na specjalne życzenie jest para lisków :-)

This year it's even hard to define the season for particular celebrations, as many of them were delayed or cancelled altogether. After a short ban on wedding receptions they begin to take place again and so are orders on wedding cards and keepsakes. Today I bring you a wedding album in a cheerful colour palette, with the main motif being, upon a special request, a pair of cute foxes :-)

Na okładce umieściłam liski w ramce, mającej udawać ślubny portret, a pod nim inicjały Młodych. Sprężyna nie jest szczególnie dekoracyjnym elementem, ale z dodatkiem wstążek i koronki wygląda zupełnie nieźle ;-) Całości dopełniają ozdobne narożniki:

The cover is decorated with foxes in a frame which is to represent a wedding portrait, with the Newlyweds' initials beneath. The wire is not a particularly decorative element of an album, but with ribbons and lace looks quite well ;-) I completed the cover desing with ornate metal corner protectors:

Karty w albumie zostały przygotowane pod konkretne zdjęcia i ozdobione stemplowanymi cytatami z Lemonade i...liskami :-) Całość przedstawia wspólną historię pary od poznania do ślubu.

The cards inside the album were designed for specific photos and decorated with Lemonade stamped quotations and... foxes :-) The whole presents the history of the couple, from the meeting until the marriage.

Muszę przyznać, że w trakcie tworzenia padło wiele nieprzyjemnych ;-) słów, jako że pojedynczy lisek składa się z ok. 15 osobnych elementów, w tym bardzo drobnych, jak oczka i nosek - człowiek się nawycina, a tu nagle część ląduje na brązowej podłodze... no, możecie sobie wyobrazić ;-) A lisków trochę się pojawiło w albumie ;-) Niemniej jednak myślę, że efekt końcowy wart był zachodu i mam nadzieję, że Nowożeńcom również się spodobał :-)

I have to admit there were many bad words ;-) muttered during the process, as a single fox is composed of ca. 15 parts, including tiny ones like eyes and noses - you cut and cut and suddenly some elements fall onto the brown floor... you can imagine ;-) And you can see quite a few foxes in the album ;-) Nevertheless, I think the final result was worth the effort and I hope the young couple liked it too :-)

Projekt: dziecko / Project: Child

Dzisiaj miała być premiera sierpniowego kitu Limited Edition, ale dopiero dzisiaj go dostałam, dlatego pokażę inną pracę, dla mnie wyjątkową, złożoną z elementów, z których każdy jest samodzielnym layoutem, ale razem stanowią spójną całość.

Today I was supposed to reveal the August Limited Edition kit, but I only got it today, so instead I'm sharing a project that is special for me, consisting of elements being separate layouts, but only put together they make a meaningful whole.

Wszystkie layouty powstały na bazie tych samych materiałów: papiery Makowego Pola i Lemonade z dodatkiem złotego i kawowego kartonu (by lepiej wyglądały w ramach 50x50), białych i miętowych kwiatów, kryształowych zawijasów i suchych gałązek z bonsai mojego męża ;-)) Każdy layout ma też swoją figurkę z masy. Jak można się zorientować, każdy z poszczególnych layoutów ma określoną kompozycję, by można je było ułożyć:

All the layouts are made with the same goodies: Makowe Pole and Lemonade papers matted with gold and coffee cardstock to make them nicely fit into 50x50 frames, white and mint flowers, crystal flourishes and dried twigs from my husband's bonsai tree ;-)) Each layout has its art clay embellishment too. As you might suppose, each of the layouts has a particular design so that they can be arranged into this:

Dzięki temu można w całości przeczytać napis: Dzieci to uwidoczniona miłość. Jeśli się przyjrzycie, zobaczycie też, że wzór cegiełek układa się w krzyż - bo dzieci to radość, miłość, ale również (powiedzmy sobie szczerze) wyrzeczenie i poświęcenie ;-)

Thanks to this arrangement you can read the sentiment: Children are love made visible. If you look closer, you can also notice the brick pattern makes a cross - as children are love and joy but also (let's be honest) commitment and sacrifice ;-)
