Mr. Handsome - My Creative Scrapbook

Z pomocą półtora arkusza udało mi się uciec od żółto-pomarańczowej palety wrześniowego kitu Limited Edition od My Creative Scrapbook ;-) Wykorzystałam też pasujące kolorystycznie kwiaty, a wizualne luki uzupełniłam wyciętymi wykrojnikami białymi elementami:
Thanks to one and a half paper I managed to avoid the yellow-orange palette of the September Limited Edition kit from My Creative Scrapbook ;-) I also used all the matching flowers from the kit, and filled the visual gaps with white die cut elements:

Żeby nieco "rozmnożyć" kwiaty, przecięłam dwa na pół ;-) Tytuł z białych piankowych naklejek, stempel w tle i nieco brokatowych chlapań dopełniło całości.
To "multiply" the flowers I cut two of them into halves ;-) I completed my design with white foam letters title, background stamping and some glitter splashes:

Layout nr 4 jest na razie tajny ;-) dlatego jutro zapraszam na oglądanie kartek - bo przecież nie mogłam tak po prostu wyrzucić resztek! :-)
Layout no. 4 is secret for now ;-) and so tomorrow I'll be sharing some cards - I couldn't just throw away the leftovers, right? :-)

Adorable - My Creative Scrapbook

Dzisiaj kolejny layout, jaki powstał z wrześniowego kitu Limited Edition od MCS - i kolejna próba oswojenia żółtego ;-))
Today another layout I made using the September Limited Edition kit from MCS - and also another attempt at taming yellow ;-))

Najpierw pobawiłam się trochę mediami ;-)
First I played with some media ;-)

Warstwy i przestrzenność głównie dzięki tekturowym naklejkom:
I added some layers and dimension mainy with chipboard stickers:

Bardzo polubiłam piankowe litery, które często pojawiają się w zestawach MCS - idealne do tworzenia widocznych tytułów ;-)
I really love those foam letters that are often included in MCS kits - they're perfect for visible titles ;-)

Here Comes the Sun - My Creative Scrapbook

Przyszła pora na przedstawienie wrześniowego kitu Limited Edition od My Creative Scrapbook :-) Tym razem papiery i tekturowe naklejki od Blue Fern Studios, dodatki Primy, złota mgiełka i piankowe litery dobrane pod względem dość nietypowej dla mnie palety pozwoliły mi oprawić - chyba pierwszy raz - zdjęcie bez ludzi ;-)
Time to introduce the projects I made using the September Limited Edition kit by My Creative Scrapbook :-) This time Blue Fern Studios papers and chipboard stickers, Prima embellishments, golden mist and foam letters selected according to the palette that is quite unusual for me, but which allowed me to scrapbook - for the first time, I think - a photo without people ;-)

Bardzo rzadko używam żółci i pomarańczu w swoich pracach - ale do zdjęcia nieba nad Śniardwami te kolory idealnie się nadały :-) Użyłam jedynie kilku dodatków, by zdjęcie od razu przyciągało oko:
I very seldom use yellows and oranges in my projects - but for the photo of the sky above the Śniardwy lake they were just perfect :-) I only used a couple of embellishments so that the photo draws all the attention:

A Wy oprawiacie zdjęcia przyrody, czy raczej koncentrujecie się na osobach? :-)
Do you scrapbook photos of the nature, or rather concentrate on people? :-)

Chrzest chłopczyka / A Baby Boy Baptism

Wrześniowe wyzwanie w Maja Design opiera się na tablicy inspiracyjnej i palecie kolorystycznej w beżach i błękitach. Oto kartka na chrzest, która według tej palety powstała:
September Maja Design challenge is based upon a moodboard and a beige-blue colour palette. And here's the baptism card I made following the palette:

Na warstwach papierów z kolekcji Vintage Romance ułożyłam kwiaty i tekturowe zawijasy:
I arranged my flowers and chipboard pieces upon layers of papers of the Vintage Romance collection:

Stemplowany napis embossowałam złotym pudrem:
I embossed the stamped sentiment with golden ep:

A w centrum umieściłam kolorowany Distressami i wycięty motyw śpiącego maleństwa:
And in the centre I placed the stamped and cut out motif of the sleeping baby, hand-coloured with Distress inks:

Say Cheese!

Dzisiaj coś, czego chyba jeszcze u mnie nie było - Project Life na layoucie ;-) PL to zupełnie nie moja bajka, nie ten styl i najczęściej kolorystyka - ale co zrobić, kiedy jednak takie papiery się znajdą w zasobach? Oddać komuś, albo spróbować się zmierzyć z tematem naginając jak się da do siebie ;-) I efektem takich właśnie zmagań jest mój dzisiejszy projekt dla Scrapki.pl:
Today I'm sharing something I guess I'd never shared before - Project Life in a layout ;-) PL is totally not my story, the style and most often the colours either - but what can you do if such papers ar in your stash anyway? Well, give them to someone or just try to handle the problem, adapting as much as you can ;-) And the result for my struggle is my today's project for Scrapki.pl:

Kolekcja Simple Stories Say Cheese III najlepiej pasuje do oprawy zdjęć z Disneylandu, bo motywem przewodnim jest Myszka Miki ;-) A że akurat w Disneylandzie nie byliśmy, to wystarczyć musiały zdjęcia z polskiego podwórka, za to najmłodszy gentleman jak najbardziej w temacie ;-)
The Say Cheese III collection by Simple Stories is best for scrapbooking photos of some Disneyland trip, as Mickey Mouse is the main motif ;-) But since I actually never was to Disneyland, photos of a Polish backyard had to suffice, at least the youngest gentleman fits the theme ;-)

Karty do PL wycięłam z arkuszy i ułożyłam jako wzór i jednocześnie journaling na białym kartonie. Aby zaś nie wydawały się zbyt płaskie, niektóre elementy podkreśliłam brokatem:
I cut out the PL cards and arranged them on a white cardstock background as my pattern and journaling at the same time. And to make them pop out a bit I accented some details with glitter:

Za ozdoby posłużyły mi naklejki z kolekcji, które najpierw nakleiłam na kartonie i wycięłam, żeby wygodniej było je podkleić na piance i dodać nieco przestrzenności:
For embellishments I used stickers from the collection. I first placed them on cardstock and cut out so that it was easier to mount them on foam dots for some dimension:

Na koniec dodałam kropeczki z kolekcji i trochę złotych cekinów - mężczyźni wszak uwielbiają błyszczeć ;-))
For the finishing touch I added enamel dots from the collection and some golden sequins - men love to shine after all ;-))

Bogactwo jesieni / Autumn Splendor

I jak to się stało, że już wrzesień?! I za chwilę koniec lata?! Żeby jednak przypomnieć sobie, że jesień też ma swoje uroki, tematem wrześniowo-październikowego wyzwania w the ScrapBerry's jest bogactwo jesieni - na które przygotowałam kartkę w typowo jesiennych kolorach.
How come it's September already?! And the end of summer is just around the corner?! But to remind ourselves of the beauty of autumn, let's have a look at the ScrapBerry's newest September-October challenge, Autumn Splendor - to which I created a sample card in the traditionally autumn palette:

Na pięknym deskowym tle kolekcji Words Live Forever umieściłam kompozycję z pomarańczowych kwiatów i szkieletowych listków, które raczej zalegają mi w pudełku ;-)) ale tutaj sprawdziły się idealnie:
On the beautiful woodboard background of the Words Live Forever sheet I arranged a cluster of orange flowers and skeleton leaves that are normally kept on the bottom of the box ;-)) but here are just perfect:

Dodałam też zegar (szkoła!) i button z owocami (zbiory!), by tych jesiennych symboli było jak najwięcej:
I also added a clockface brad (school!) and a fruits image button (harvest!) to include as many autumn motives as possible:

A skoro polska jesień bywa złota, to i złota trochę też jest :-)
And as the Polish autumn is supposed to be golden, there's some gold as well :-)

W górę / Up Up And Away

I stało się, wakacje się kończą... Aby jednak nie popadać w zbyt przygnębiający nastrój, na mój dzisiejszy post dla Maja Design przygotowałam kartki z motywami mającymi unieść w górę ;-))
And so it begins, the end of summer holidays.... But in order not to let our spirits go down, for my today's post for Maja Design I created cards with motives to take us up and away ;-))

Pierwsza z nich z anielskim skrzydłem w kwiatach :-)
The first one features an angel wing among flowers :-)

Kartka powstała z zimowej kolekcji Vintage Frost Basics. Kompozycję skrzydlano-kwiatową umieściłam wokół stemplowanego i embossowanego kółka z napisem i buttonem w centrum. Całość uzupełniłam perłowymi ćwiekami i perełkami w płynie:
I made the card using the winter Vintage Frost Basics collection. I placed the wing-flowers cluster around the stamped and embossed sentiment with a button in the centre. I completed the design with pearl brads and liquid pearls:

Druga kartka przedstawia motyw balonu:
The other card features the balloon motif:

Utrzymane w podobnej kolorystyce patchworkowe tło z kolekcji Vintage Romance zdobi filigranowy tekturkowy balon otoczony mini różyczkami. Do tego dodałam wąską koronkę i kryształowe zawijasy:
The patchwork background in a similar colour palette, made from the Vintage Romance collection, is decorated with a filigree chipboard balloon surrounded with mini roses. I also added a thin cotton lace and crystal swirls:

W ogrodzie przyjemności / Garden of Delights

Cokolwiek pomyśleliście na widok tytułu posta - chodzi o dwie kartki z kolekcji Garden of Delights od the ScrapBerry's ;-))
Whatever you thought seeing the title of the post - I meant two cards I made using the ScrapBerry's collection Garden of Delights ;-))

Pierwsza z nich to kartka urodzinowa, imieninowa, lub na inną okazję, by złożyć najlepsze życzenia :-)
The first one is a birtday or name day card, or a card for any occasion upon which you'd like to give someone your best wishes :-)

Wykorzystałam motyw pocztówki z jaskółkami, którą umieściłam na warstwach papierów i ozdobiłam kwiatami i metalowym zegarem:
I used a postcard tag with the image of swallows, which I mounted on layers of papers and decorated with flowers and a metal clock:

Napis nastemplowałam na kalce i embossowałam złotym pudrem:
I stamped the sentiment on vellum and embossed with golden ep:

Druga kartka przeznaczona jest na okazję ślubu:
The other card is a wedding card:

Wybrałam różowe papiery na tło i dodałam wzór za pomocą maski:
I selected pink papers for the background and added a pattern using a stencil:

Kwiaty ułożyłam w spływającą girlandę:
I arranged the flowers into a garland flowing down the card:

I podobnie jak na poprzedniej kartce, napis nastemplowałam na kalce i embossowałam, a następnie umieściłam w ozdobnej ramce:
And just as for the previous card, I stamped the sentiment on vellum and embossed it, and then placed upon a decorative resin frame:

Ta piękna kolekcja daje duże możliwości tworzenia delikatnych, romantycznych prac, zawiera sporo elementów do wycięcia i karty journalingowe, co ułatwia pracę. A co Wy z niej stworzycie? :-)
This beautiful collection gives great opportunities to create delicate, romantic projects, it contains a lot of cut-out elements and journaling card that make creating even easier. What will you make with it? :-)
