Zimowy dekor / A Winter Home Decor

Mam nadzieję, że Wasze Święta upływają w spokojnej, rodzinnej atmosferze :-) W ten radosny czas przychodzę do Was z pomysłem na zimowy dekor, którym możecie ozdobić Wasz ulubiony kącik:

I do hope your Christmas is filled with peace and family joy :-) In this cheerful time I bring you a winter home decor piece that you can use to decorate your favourite nook:

Dekor powstał w ramach DT dla Agaterii i Maja Design. Bazą ozdoby jest misterny warstwowy domek z HDF, którego wnętrze okleiłam papierami z kolekcji Christmas Nostalgia, a ramkę w całości embossowałam dwoma diamentowymi pudrami: srebrnym i białym. Blask pod światło jest niesamowity! Na tle zaś naniosłam wzory z szablonów - spadających śnieżynek:

I made this decor as my DT project for Agateria and Maja Design. The base for the decor is the filigree HDF house, the inside of which I wrapped with papers from the Christmas Nostalgia collection and the outside frame is fully embossed with diamond powders: the silver and white ones.The glimmer against the light is just stunning! Then I applied stencil patterns upon the background - falling snowflakes:

...i ażurowej choinki, którą ozdobiłam brokatem i wycinaną gwiazdką:

...and the flourish Christmas tree that I decorated with glitter and a punched star:

Rycinę w środku ozdobiłam parą uroczych zimowych jelonków:

I decorated the central image with a pair of cute deer:

...oraz kompozycją stemplowanych i embossowanych diamentowymi pudrami poinsetti, listków i jemioły:

...and clusters of poinsettias, leaves and mistletoe stamped and embossed with diamond eps:

Całość pięknie się mieni i mroźnie skrzy pod światło - mam nadzieję, że to nie będzie jedyny śnieżny blask tej zimy! ;-))

The whole piece beautifully glimmers and glitters against the light - and I do hope this wouldn't be the only icy glimmer this winter! ;-))

To już jest koniec... / This Is The End...

...świątecznego kartkowania ;-) Czas chyba najwyższy, bo Święta już za pasem. Dlatego na mój dzisiejszy post dla Agaterii przygotowałam ostatnie w tym sezonie kartki:

...of the Christmas cardmaking ;-) And it's high time, as Christmas is around the corner. And so for my today's post for Agateria I made the last cards of this year's season: 

W pierwszej kartce do ozdobienia szopki użyłam stempli: napisu, który odbiłam na tagu i przewiązałam dwukolorowym sznureczkiem, oraz stemplowanej na kalce i embossowanej diamentowym pudrem poinsettii:

In the first card I decorated the manger scene with stamps: a sentiment stamped on a tag to which I added baker twine bows and a poinsettia, stamped on vellum and embossed with diamond ep:

Drugą stajenkę, tym razem stemplowaną, zdobi przepiękny tekturkowy wianek śnieżynek, bardzo delikatnie embossowany diamentowym pudrem oraz kolejna poinsettia, tym razem wzbogacona gałązkami jemioły embossowanymi złotym diamentowym pudrem. Do tego oczywiście stempelek z napisem:

The second manger scene, stamped this time, is decorated with a beautiful chipboard snowflake wreath very delicately embossed with diamond ep, and another poinsettia to which I added mistletoe twigs embossed with gold diamond ep. And of course I added a stamped sentiment too:

Tutaj możecie zobaczyć, jak warstwowe są te kartki - ale mimo to bez trudu mieszczą się w kopercie:

W Betlejemskiej stajence / In A Bethlehem Manger

Nie ustaję z kartkowymi przygotowaniami - choć zbliżam się do końca :-) Dzisiaj mam dla Was kartki ze sceną ze stajenki.

I keep going with my Christmas cardmaking - though I can see the finish line :-) Today I bring you cards featuring the manger scene.

 

Moje kartki świąteczne, zarówno Bożonarodzeniowe jak i Wielkanocne, z reguły zawierają motywy religijne - bo przecież to religijne Święta. Mam kilka stempli "stajenkowych", a ten bardzo lubię, bo jest na tyle duży, że idealnie sprawdza się w roli głównego elementu. Wystarczy dodać kilka ozdób i kartka gotowa :-)

My festive cards, both Christmas and Easter ones, usually contain religious motives - which is obvious for me as these are strictly religious celebrations. I have several "manger" stamps, and I like this particular one because it's so large it can easily make the focal element. I only needed a couple of embellishments to finish the cards :-)

Pastelowe kartki świąteczne / Pastel Christmas Cards

Świątecznego kartkowania ciąg dalszy :-) Na mój dzisiejszy post dla Agaterii przygotowałam pastelowe kartki z tekturkami w roli głównej:

Christmas cardmaking continued :-) For my today's post for Agateria I created pastel cards featuring chipboard elements:

Obie kartki utrzymane są w delikatnej pastelowej kolorystyce z czerwonymi akcentami - może nie jest to typowa paleta świąteczna, ale moim zdaniem prezentuje się pięknie, przywodząc na myśl mroźną zimę ze skrzącym się śniegiem :-) W pierwszej kartce na centralnym panelu umieściłam stemplowany napis, który otoczyłam dekoracyjnymi motywami wyciętymi z papierów scrapowych oraz stemplowaną na kalce i embossowaną diamentowym pudrem poinsettią:

Both card have a delicate pastel colour palette with red accents - it may not be a traditional Christmas palette, but I think it looks beautiful, bringing to mind frosty winter and glistening snow :-) In the first card I stamped the sentiment on the central panel and surrounded it with decorative motives cut out from scrapbooking papers and a poinsettia stamped on vellum and embossed with diamond dust ep:

 

Górną część kartki zdobi przepiękna, misterna tekturka z bombką i śnieżynkami, również embossowana diamentowym pudrem. Idealnie zgrywa się z gwiazdką wyciętą z brokatowego kartonu i wkomponowałam w tekturkę:

The upper card of the card is decorated with a gorgeous filigree chipboard ornament with a bauble and snowflakes, also embossed with diamond ep. It perfectly blends with a star that I punched from glitter cardstock and placed by the chipboard:

W drugiej kartce napis nastemplowałam bezpośrednio na papierze tła i embossowałam go złotym pudrem. Głównym motywem ozdobnym kartki jest choinka wycięta z papieru i ozdobiona kompozycją, w której umieściłam stemplowaną poinsettię z listkami oraz tekturkę skomponowaną z różnych świątecznych motywów: śnieżynki, gwiazdki, cukrowa laska. Właśnie ta różnorodność motywów zainspirowała mnie do pobawienia się pudrami - poszczególne motywy pokrywałam tuszem z markera do embossingu i kolejno embossowałam diamentowymi pudrami: białym, czerwonym i złotym. Jest to dość pracochłonna technika (ta niewielka tekturka to ok. 15 minut pracy), ale za to efektowna :-)

In the second card I stamped the sentiment directly on the background paper and embossed it with gold ep. The main decorative element of the card is the image of a Christmas tree cut out from scrapbooking paper and decorated with a cluster including a stamped poinsettia with leaves and a chipboard piece composed of various festive motives: snowflakes, stars, a candy cane etc. That variety inspired me to paly with embossing powders - I first covered particular motives with embossing ink using a marker and embossed them one by one with our diamond powders: white, red and gold. It's a quite time-consuming technique (this small chipboard piece took me about 15 minutes), but so impressive :-)

Jeszcze kilka kolęd / Some More Christmas Carols

Niedawno pokazywałam tu kolędowe kartki dla Agaterii, a dzisiaj przynoszę kolejne, bo stempli w tym temacie mam kilka :-)

Some time ago I shared here carol-inspired cards for Agateria, and today I bring you some more as I have a couple of carol stamps :-)

Kartki powstały z rozmaitych resztek, a ponieważ mieszczą się też do koperty, to kartki spełniają warunki obu moich auto-wyzwaniowych kategorii :-) I muszę przyznać, że niezmiernie cieszę się z tych wyzwań, bo całkiem nieźle mi idą. 

These cards were made using various leftovers, and since they are envelope-friendly too, they fall into two of my self-challenge category :-) And I must say I'm really happy with those challenges as they are going really well.

 

Kartka z aniołem jest w nieco nietypowej, neutralnej kolorystyce, co moim zdaniem dobrze oddaje klimat polskiej zimy. Stempel z tekstem embossowałam złotym pudrem i ozdobiłam wycinanymi z papierów motywami. Brokatowe listki i gwiazdki przypominają skrzący się śnieg.

The angel card features a slightly usunual neutral colour palette, which I think really well represents the aura of a Polish winter. I embossed the text stamp with gold ep and decorated with cut-out images. Glitter leaves and stars remind of sparkling snow.

 

W centrum drugiej kartki umieściłam button z motywem żłóbka, a jako tło dodałam choinkę i poinsettię z dodatkami, wycięte z Mintayowych papierów. Blasku dodają złote perełki na choince i brokatowe cekiny. 

In the centre of the other card I placed the manger button, adding a Christmas tree as a background, as well as a poinsettia and other elements cut out from Mintay papers. Gold pearls and glitter sequins add some glam.

 

A tak w ogóle, uwierzycie, że to już grudzień? Miłego kartkowania!
