Candy - dogrywka :)

Ponieważ poprzednia Zwyciężczyni Candy nie zgłosiła się po odbiór nagrody - postanowiłam ogłosić dogrywkę :-) Tak więc na miły początek tygodnia, do poprzednich cukierasów:

Wiosenne tagi / Spring Tags

Dzisiaj przypada mój post dla Lemonade, a że słońce świeci u nas coraz częściej, a temperatura rośnie - aż prosiło się zrobić coś bardzo wiosennego :-) I tak powstały dwie kartki-tagi:
Today is my turn to post for Lemonade, and since we're having sunny days more and more often and the temperature rises - it was kind of obvious to create something spring-themed :-) Ans so I made two tag cards:

Na obu kartkach użyłam tego samego misternego zawijasa w tle i delikatnych koronek gipiurowych:
I used the same filigree flourish stamps in the background and delicate guipure ribbons:

Głównym motywem ozdobnym są ptaszki z masy plastycznej wśród kwiatów:
The main decorative motives are clay birds among flowers:

Po dodaniu napisów i naklejeniu na docięte do kształtu bazy, tagi zmieniły się w kartki okolicznościowe :-)
After adding sentiments and mounting the tags onto cut to shape bases, they turned into best wishes cards :-)

Stara młoda kartka / An Old Young Card

Zgodnie z wtorkową tradycją - dziś post dla Craft4You :-) I moją inspiracją na kolejne wyzwanie, tym razem idealnie jak dla mnie: "Nadgryzione zębem czasu...", w którym trzeba zastosować szarpanie brzegów i co najmniej dwa media postarzające.
Following the Tuesday tradition - today I'm sharing a post for Craft4You :-) With my inspiration for the latest challenge, simply perfect for me: "Timeworn...", in which the requirements are: edge distressing and at least two ageing media.

Wykorzystałam papiery z już postarzonymi wzorami, potuszowałam i poszarpałam brzegi, a następnie dodałam: stemplowanie i przecieranie gesso:
I used the already distressed patterned papers, inked and distressed all the edges, and then added: stamping and gesso:

...sztuczne "plamy ze stempla ;-)....
...stamped artificial "stains" ;-)...

...prawdziwe plamy z Distress Stain, jak mnie nauczyła nieoceniona Latarnia (xoxo)...

Do tego szpilki, kwiat, wstążeczka i guziki vintage - i wyszło całkiem staro, jak na tak młodą kartkę, prawda? :-)
And then also some pins, a rose, vintage seam binding and buttons - and it makes quite an old look for such a young card, doesn't it? :-)

Kwiatowo / Flowery Cards

Jak zwykle pierwszego dnia miesiąca, tak i dzisiaj ruszyło kolejne wyzwanie w Lemonade - tym razem w pracy należy użyć co najmniej trzech kwiatów, każdy w innym kolorze. Ponieważ czas nagli, zdecydowałam się na pierwsze tegoroczne kartki wielkanocne: oto tradycyjne już jajka w wersji na ten rok :-)
As always on the first day of the month, so today starts a new challenge at Lemonade - this time the requirement is to use at least three flowers in your creation, and each must be in a different colour. As the time is pressing, I decided upon my first Easter cards this year: here my traditional Easter eggs in this year's look :-)

Światło było dzisiaj fatalne, więc nie będę Was męczyć zdjęciami...
The light for shooting was awful today, so I'm not going to torture you with ugly photos...

Ale do udziału w wyzwaniu jak najbardziej zachęcam :-)

Together

Dziś kolejna praca z materiałów, z którymi nie miałam jeszcze okazji pracować, choć czekały od pewnego czasu. Chociaż kolekcja Engraver z najnowszej serii Primy dotarła jako ostatnia, nie mogłam się powstrzymać - i oto kolejne LO z braterską fotką z ostatniej sesji chłopaków:
Today I'm sharing another creation using supplies I haven't the chance to work with yet, though I purchased them some time ago. Although the Engraver collection from the latest Prima release got here last, I couldn't wait any longer - and here's another LO with the brotherly photo of the latest photo shoot of my boys:

LO jest całe Primowe, jako, że powstało również według lutowej mapki BAP. Jest w niej dużo warstw i elementów, pozwalających na użycie całej gamy dodatków:
The LO is all Prima, as I used the February BAP sketch as well. It contains a lot of layers and elements that allow for using a whole range of embellishments:

I w rezultacie wyszedł całkiem spory grubasek ;-)
And it turned out quite fat ;-)

Druga strona medalu / The Other Side of the Coin

W tym tygodniu na blogu Craft4You, w ramach comiesięcznego cyklu "Historia jednego papieru" przedstawiamy bestsellerowy arkusz stycznia, czyli Shindig z kolekcji Spring Jubilee Pink Paislee. Chociaż piękny kolaż z ptaszkiem jest bardzo kuszący, postanowiłam dla odmiany przedstawić drugą stronę medalu ;-) Oto LO na tle delikatnego turkusu:
This week on the Craft4You blog we're having our monthly series "The history of a paper", in which the DT girls present their ideas for the best-selling paper of the month. In January you most often bought the "Shindig" sheet from the Spring Jubilee collection by Pink Paislee. Although I was very tempted by the beautiful bird collage, I decided to show the other side of the coin ;-) Here my LO based on the delicate turqouise background:

Starałam się tak ułożyć kompozycję, żeby nie zasłonić delikatnych zdobień na obrzeżach. Do papieru bazowego dobrałam "gazetowy" fragment arkusza Soiree z tej samej kolekcji, oraz resztki arkuszy Rumour i Shimmer z kolekcji Periwinkle (które wykorzystałam już do trzeciej pracy :-)).
I tried to arrange the embellishments so that they don't cover the delicate ornaments on the sides. To the background paper I added the "newspaper" part of the Soiree sheet from the same collection and the bits and pieces from the Rumour and Shimmer papers from the Priwinkle collection (the ones I've used for the third project already :-)).

Ramka do zdjęcia powstała z fragmentu z cytatem - wycięłam go i przykleiłam na zdjęciu na piance 3D, tworząc lekko przestrzenną całość. Pod nią umieściłam tytułowy bilecik z tego samego arkusza:
I made the frame for the photo by cutting out the quotation and mounting the frame on some 3D foam, thus creating a slightly dimensional photo frame. Beneath, I placed the title tag from the same paper:

Kompozycji dopełnił stemplowany banner i bukieciki kwiatów:
I finished the design off by adding a stamped banner and flower clusters:

Chociaż LO jak na mnie dość clean&simple, to jednak wyszedł całkiem przestrzenny :-)
Although the LO is rather clean&simple for me, it turned out quite dimensional :-)

Przepiśnik detektywa / A Detective's Recipe Notebook

Z powodu istnej nawałnicy pracy nie miałam jeszcze czasu pociąć najnowszych papierów Watsonowych od UHK - aż do dzisiaj. Jakoś tak wyszło, że jako pierwszy powstał przepiśnik ;-) Wszak herbatka i ciasteczka były ważnym punktem dnia każdego szanującego się angielskiego gentlemana ;-)
Because of a true ton of work lately, I haven't had time to cut the latest  Watson papers byUHK  - until today. It somehow happened the very first thing I created using them was a recipe notebook ;-) After all, five o'clock tea and biscuits were an important moment of the day for every decent gentleman ;-)

Do nobliwych papierów świetnie pasują stylizowane tekturowe sztućce, którym dodałam klimatycznych spękań:
The gentle papers perfectly match the stylised beermat cutlery that I covered with crackle accents:

... i postarzana wstążka z najnowszej kolekcji eightowej.
 ... and aged ribbon from the latest eight collection.

Narożniki jak zwykle wzmocniłam okuwkami:
As usually, I secured the corners with metal protectors:

I added some stamping and a pocket inside:

Czas więc na herbatkę :-)
