Truskawka / A Strawberry

Uwielbiam truskawki! To niesprawiedliwe, że sezon na nie trwa tak krótko, i tak długo trzeba na nie czekać! Z tej tęsknoty kupiłam sobie ostatnio za złodziejską cenę pudełeczko truskawek - co prawda pewnie więcej w nich było chemii niż potasu, ale nie mogłam się powstrzymać...

I love strawberries! That's so unfair the season is so short and then you have to wait for them for so long! Out of the longing I bought a small box (paying through the nose!) - though I realise there was proboably more chemistry in them than potassium, but I just couldn't resist...

Dlatego też, kiedy w przepisie Katasiaczka w Piaskownicy pojawił się wymóg owocu, wybór był prosty :-))

So when Katasiaczek's craft recipe at Piaskownica required a fruit, the choice was simple :-))

Koniecznie zobaczcie inne wypieki z tego przepisu - a może i Wy się skusicie? :-)

Idziemy na zakupy / Let's Go Shopping

Z okazji wczorajszego Dnia Kobiet zrobiłam również pracę dla Scrapgalerii, z papierów i ćwieków z kolekcji Stella&Rose MME i z wykorzystaniem stempelka WOJ Shopping Willow:

On the occassion of the yesterday's Women's Day I made something for Scrapgaleria too, using papers and brads from Stella&Rose by MME and WOJ Shopping Willow stamp.

Żeby pokazać jak najwięcej papierów, sięgnęłam po wzór patchworka. Stempelek, jak zwykle, kolorowałam Distressami.

To show as many papers as possible, I used the patchwork design. The stamp coloured with Distress Inks, as always.

Po lewej kieszonka na kartę kredytową albo luźne kwitki, z jakże prawdziwym motto Marilyn Monroe:

On the left hand side a small pocket to put a credit card or bills into, with a so much true quotation by Marilyn Monroe ("Money doesn't bring happiness, only shopping does"):

... a po prawej notesik w kratkę, a pod nim podklejony pasek papieru z tunelikiem na ołówek:

...and to the right, a small notepad under which I glued a strip of paper with a tunnel for a pencil.

Kopertówka dla Craft4You, z prześlicznych papierów Kaisercraft After Five. Są one idealne do kopertówek, bo niezbyt grube, łatwo je więc pozaginać i przeszyć.

An envelope card using gorgeous Kaisercraft After Five papers - they're ideal for this form of a card ,as they aren't too thick and thus easy to fold and sew.

Jak nie moje / Not Like Mine

Tak chyba mogłabym najkrócej opisać poniższe dwie prace :-))

I guess that's the least I can say about the projects below :-))

Bo po pierwsze, LO dla Craft4You jest właściwie minimalistyczne: użyłam tylko stempli TH (świetnych!!!!) jako tło, kilku skrawków papieru i kilku dodatków.

First of all, the LO I made for Craft4You is quite minimalistic: I only used TH stamps (fantastic!!) to make the background, a couple of embellishments and strips of paper.

 

 

A ta kartka na kolorTon Anny-Marii w Piaskownicy? Czy to są "moje" kolory?! ;-)))

And this card for Anna-Maria's colour challenge at Piaskownica? Are these "my" colours at all?!

Ślubne motyle / Wedding Butterflies

czyli kartka na skrzydlate wyzwanie Nowalinki w Lemonade (zapraszam!!) - ślubna, ale bez bieli. Za to z brokatem :-))

i.e. a card I made for Nowalinka's challeneg at Lemonade's (join in!!) - a wedding card, but without white. Glitter instead :-))

Chłodne kolory, ale mimo to stylistyka wiosenna - zupełnie, jak pogoda za oknem ;-))

Cool colours, but spring in climate nevertheless - just like the weather outside ;-)

Motylowy lift i wyniki candy / A Butterfly Lift and the Candy Results

Wstyd się przyznać, ale na bloga Betsy Veldman trafiłam niedawno - a to prawdziwa kopalnia inspiracji i znana w świecie cardmakingu (i nite tylko!) mistrzyni chyba każdego stylu! Natychmiast zaproponowałam jedną z jej kartek dziewczynom w Piaskownicy, na kolejny cardlift.

Shame on me, but I discovered Betsy Veldman's blog just a couple of weeks ago - and she's a world-wide known mistress of any style in cardmaking (and not only!) and her blog is just a golden well of inspiration. I immediately suggested one of her cards to girls at Piaskownica, for another cardlift edition.
