Aż trudno uwierzyć, że od Bożego Narodzenia minął już niemal miesiąc! - czas pędzi nieubłaganie i przed nami kolejne święto, Dzień Babci i Dziadka. Dlatego też przynoszę Wam dzisiaj kartkowe inspiracje na tę okazję, które zrobiłam przy pomocy materiałów DT od Agaterii i Maja Design. Kartki mają tę samą kompozycję i ten sam główny element - tekturkowe serduszko z napisem :-) - jednak zmiana kolorystyki i elementów ozdobnych powoduje, że każda ma swój charakter:
It's hard to believe Christmas was almost a month ago! -
time flies really fast and we are heading for another celebration,
Grandma's and Grandpa's Days. Therefore I bring you some card
inspiration for this occasion, which I made using my DT stuff from Agateria and Maja Design. Both cards have the same design and main decorative element - a chipboard sentiment heart :-) - but just a change of the colour palette and embellishments make them each different:
W kartce dla Dziadka, w tonacji brązowo-zielonej, naniosłam na brązowy panel tła wzór z maski zielonym tuszem, by dodać głębi i nawiązać do pozostałych zielonych akcentów. Serce embossowałam złotym pudrem i ozdobiłam tekturkowymi trybikami, które z kolei embossowałam mieszanką białego, złotego i rdzawego pudru. Zachęcam Was do eksperymentowania z pudrami i tworzenia własnych mieszanek - wystarczy dosłownie po szczypcie proszku. By kartka nie wydawała się zbyt surowa, dodałam aksamitną wstążeczkę i bannerek w kratkę.
The
cards have the same design and main decorative element - a chipboard
sentiment heart :-) In the card for Grandpa, kept in browns and greens, I
applied a stencil pattern upon the background panel with green ink to
add depth and refer to other green accents. I embossed the heart with
gold ep and decorated with chipboard gears that I embossed with a custom
mix of white, gold and rust eps. I do recommend experimenting with your
powders to create new colours and effects, only a pinch will do. In
order for the card to look more elegant I added velvet ribbon and a
plaid banner.
Kartka dla Babci zaś powstała z papierów Miles Apart Maja Design. Jest delikatna i romantyczna, dzięki różowej kolorystyce i kwiatowym motywom. W centrum serce embossowane pudrem różowe złoto, a zdobią je tekturkowe kwiaty embossowane diamentowym pyłem (uwielbiam ten puder!) oraz stemplowane magnolie: embossowałam je różowym złotem, pokolorowałam markerami wodnymi i wycięłam, układając je w kompozycję wokół serca. Delikatności dodaje również elegancka koronka.
The
card for Grandma was made using the Miles Apart collection by Maja Design. It's delicate and romantic due to pink hues and flower
motives. The heart in the centre is embossed with pink gold ep and
decorated with chipboard flowers embossed with diamond ep (I just love
this powder!) and stamped magnolias. I embossed them with pink gold ep,
coloured with watercolour markers and cut out. Delicate lace adds
elegance.
