Fly High - My Creative Scrapbook

I oto czas na ostatni, czwarty layout z sierpniowego kitu Limited Edition od My Creative Scrapbook.

The time has come for the last, fourth layout using the August Limited Edition kit from My Creative  Scrapbook.

Na arkuszu tła ułożyłam tytuł z brokatowych literek, dodałam motywy stemplowane z kitowego zestawu, a papiery w pasujących do zdjęcia kolorach wycięłam wykrojnikiem w kształt sześciokątów, z których ułożyłam rozsypankę uzupełniającą kompozycję pod zdjęciem.

I arranged the title on the background paper with glitter letters, added stamped motives from the kit stamp set and die cut some hexagons from papers in matching colours. Then I arranged them randomly arround the photo.

Jak widać, layout bardzo nietypowy jak na mnie - mało przestrzenny, geometryczne elementy, bez kwiatów... Za to jest blask, dzięki cekinom i brokatowi :-D 

Zajrzyjcie też jutro, zostało trochę resztek ;-)

As you can see, this layout is not very much like mine - little dimension, geometric elements, no flowers... But there's some glam and shine due to glitter and sequins :-D

Grow Love - My Creative Scrapbook

I oto trzeci layout z sierpniowego kitu Limited Edition od My Creative Scrapbook, z produktami Blue Fern Studios, Prima, American Crafts, Creative Embellishments i Pink Paislee.

Here's the third layout using the August Limited Edition kit, with products by Blue Fern Studios, Prima American Crafts, Creative Embellishments and Pink Paislee.

Z braku wystarczającej ilości literek ułożyłam tytuł z die-cuta i stempla :-) Kompozycję pod zdjęciem również ułożyłam z die-cutów (w tym cytat idealnie uzupełniający tytuł) i uzupełniłam kwiatami, motywami stemplowanymi i cekinami. 

Due to the lack of sufficient number of letters I arranged my title using a die cut and a stamp :-) I matted the photo with die cuts too  (including the quotation that perfectly completes the title) and completed the design with flowers, stamps and sequins.

 

 

Jak na layout w przeważająco żółtym kolorze, którego nie lubię, myślę, że wyszło całkiem nieźle ;-) Pewnie to zasługa tych słodziaków na zdjęciu.

As for a layout mostly in yellow, which I rather dislike, I think it turned out pretty nice ;-) I guess that's because of those two cute guys in the photo.

Dzisiaj kolejny layout z sierpniowego kitu Limited Edition od My Creative Scrapbook, z kolekcją Glory of the Garden od Blue Fern Studios i dodatkami Prima, Creative Embellishments, American Crafts i Pink Paislee.

Today I'm sharing the next layout I made using the August Limited Edition kit from My Creative Scrapbook, featuring the Glory of the Garden collection by Blue Fern Studios and goodies by Prima, Creative Embellishments, American Crafts and Pink Paislee.

Na papier tła naniosłam wzór z maski i ułożyłam bukiety kwiatów z die-cutów i kwiatów przestrzennych oraz dodałam trochę cekinów, by stworzyć rajski klimat dla zdjęcia z ogródka działkowego ;-))

I applied the stencil pattern upon the background papers, added floral custers containing die-cuts and dimensional flowers and added some sequins to create a garden-of-Eden look for a photo of an allotment ;-))

Garden Beauty - My Creative Scrapbook

Sierpniowy kit Limited Edition od My Creative Scrapbook dotarł do mnie tuż przed wakacyjnym wyjazdem, nie zdążyłam więc nic z niego stworzyć. Nadrobiłam już jednak zaległości i oto pierwszy layout jeszcze w sierpniu :-)

The August Limited Edition kit from My Creative Scrapbook arrived right before we left for our summer holiday and so I didn't have time to create anything then. But now I've managed to catch up and here comes the first layout still in August :-)

Kit sierpniowy bazuje na kolekcji Glory of the Garden od Blue Fern Studios (papiery i die-cuty), do tego zawiera kwiaty i mgiełkę Primy, maskę Creative Embellishments, brokatowy alfabet American Crafts i zestaw stempli Pink Paislee. W te produkty oprawiłam zdjęcie przepięknie kwitnącej juki. Na papier naniosłam wzór z maski z pomocą mgiełki, dodałam kwiaty i listki, które wyglądają bardzo podobnie do tych na zdjęciu :-) i uzupełniłam die-cutami. Tytuł powstał z połączenia naklejek i słówka z zestawu stempli (zresztą, nie dałoby się inaczej, alfabet zawiera tylko po jednej literce małej i dużej, czego nie znoszę ;-)))

The August kit is based on the Glory of the Garden collection by Blue Fern Studios (papers and die-cuts), plus Prima flowers and mist, Creative Embellishments stencil, American Crafts glitter alphabet and Pink Paislee stamp set. I used these goodies to scrapbook a photo of a gorgeous yucca in full bloom. I applied the stencil pattern with mist upon the background paper, added leaves and flowers that look very similar to the ones in the photo :-) and filled the cluster with die-cuts. Then I made the title combining the glitter letters with one of the stamps (I couldn't do it another way as there are just single capitals and small letters, and I hate that ;-)))

Z tęsknoty serca / From the Longing Heart

Na mój dzisiejszy post dla Maja Design przygotowałam dwie bliźniacze kartki z najnowszej kolekcji Miles Apart. Kolekcja idealnie nadaje się na tworzenie prac wyrażających tęsknotę, pamięć i wsparcie dla bliskich, od których dzieli nas odległość. Zwłaszcza teraz, kiedy możliwość podróży i odwiedzin są ograniczone, kartka z wyrazami pamięci na pewno będzie miłym gestem :-)

For my today's post for Maja Design I created two twin cards using the latest collection, Miles Apart. The collection is perfect for creating projects expressing longing, remembering and support for our close ones separated by distance. Especially now that travelling and visiting has been so much reduced, a thinking of you card would be a nice idea :-)

Kartki są w wersji różowej i niebieskiej, z przepięknymi wzorami różanych bukietów jako tło dla misternych serduszek z tekturki. Dodałam też samodzielnie zrobione znaczki inspirowane tymi z arkusza dodatków, które były nieco za duże na ten rozmiar kartek. Do tego piękna gipiurowa koronka, mini różyczka i napisy wycięte z pasków sygnatury. 

The cards are in the pink and blue version, featuring the most gorgeous rose patterns as backgrounds for filigree chipboard hearts. I also added custom made post stamps inspired by the ones printed in the Ephemera sheet which were a bit too large for this size. Beautiful guipure lace, mini roses and sentiments cut out from the signature strips complete the look.

Różany exploding box - Miles Apart / A Rose Exploding Box - Miles Apart

W przedurlopowym zamieszaniu nie zdążyłam pokazać pracy, którą przygotowałam na mój post dla Maja Design - nadrabiam więc teraz :-) Oto ślubny exploding box z najnowszej kolekcji Miles Apart:

During the pre-vacay chaos I didn't manage to post the project I made for my Maja Design DT post - and so I'm making up for this now :-) Here's a wedding exploding box I made using the latest collection, Miles Apart:

 

Kolekcja inspirowana jest sytuacją epidemii, która zmusiła miliony osób na świecie do ograniczenia kontaktów z najbliższymi i przyjaciółmi. Nie jest jednak smutna, lecz nostalgicznie pastelowa, zawiera przepiękne wzory kwiatowe i grafiki, które pozwolą stworzyć prace na wiele okazji. Uniwersalność to jedna z głównych zalet Majowych papierów :-) 

The collection has been inspired by the pandemic situation that forced millions of people all aover the world to reduce contact with loved ones and friends. But the set isn't sad, just nostalgically pastel, featuring gorgeous flowery design and images that will allow to create projects for many occasions. After all, universatility is one of Maja's papers main values :-)

 

 Na zewnętrzne ścianki boxa wybrałam najpiękniejszy moim zdaniem wzór z bukietami róż, a boki wieczka ozdobiłam wykorzystując pasek sygnatury z jednego z arkuszy :-) Samo wieczko zdobi kompozycja kwiatowa ze złotymi listkami i wstążką w obrączki:

For the outer walls of my box I selected the most beautiful (in my opinion) rose bouquets paper, and decorated the top lid sides with pieces of the signature strip from one of the papers :-) The lid is decorated with a flower cluster with golden leaves and wedding rings ribbon:

Wnętrze zawiera kieszonki na banknoty, tag na wpisanie życzeń, a w centrum - misterny torcik z tekturki ozdobiony mini różyczkami:

The inside of the box contains money pockets, a tag for writing in wishes and in the centre - a filigree chipboard cake decorated with mini roses:

Projekt: dziecko / Project: Child

Dzisiaj miała być premiera sierpniowego kitu Limited Edition, ale dopiero dzisiaj go dostałam, dlatego pokażę inną pracę, dla mnie wyjątkową, złożoną z elementów, z których każdy jest samodzielnym layoutem, ale razem stanowią spójną całość.

Today I was supposed to reveal the August Limited Edition kit, but I only got it today, so instead I'm sharing a project that is special for me, consisting of elements being separate layouts, but only put together they make a meaningful whole.

Wszystkie layouty powstały na bazie tych samych materiałów: papiery Makowego Pola i Lemonade z dodatkiem złotego i kawowego kartonu (by lepiej wyglądały w ramach 50x50), białych i miętowych kwiatów, kryształowych zawijasów i suchych gałązek z bonsai mojego męża ;-)) Każdy layout ma też swoją figurkę z masy. Jak można się zorientować, każdy z poszczególnych layoutów ma określoną kompozycję, by można je było ułożyć:

All the layouts are made with the same goodies: Makowe Pole and Lemonade papers matted with gold and coffee cardstock to make them nicely fit into 50x50 frames, white and mint flowers, crystal flourishes and dried twigs from my husband's bonsai tree ;-)) Each layout has its art clay embellishment too. As you might suppose, each of the layouts has a particular design so that they can be arranged into this:

Dzięki temu można w całości przeczytać napis: Dzieci to uwidoczniona miłość. Jeśli się przyjrzycie, zobaczycie też, że wzór cegiełek układa się w krzyż - bo dzieci to radość, miłość, ale również (powiedzmy sobie szczerze) wyrzeczenie i poświęcenie ;-)

Thanks to this arrangement you can read the sentiment: Children are love made visible. If you look closer, you can also notice the brick pattern makes a cross - as children are love and joy but also (let's be honest) commitment and sacrifice ;-)
