Kurs obrazkowy :-) / A Picture Tutorial :-)

Zupełnie zapomniałam pokazać Wam tutaj kurs, jaki przygotowałam dla Lemonade w ramach naszego cyklu "Kurs na weekend". Tym razem zaproponowałam coś bardzo prostego, a dającego ciekawe efekty - komponowanie stemplowanych obrazków :-) Oto i on:
I totally forgot to share here the tutorial I did for Lemonade within our series "The Weekend Tutorial". This time I proposed something very easy, but with nice effects - composing your own stamped pictures :-) So here it is:

Najprostszym sposobem połączenia dwóch różnych stempli jest odbicie ich osobno, wycięcie i naklejenie na siebie. Wymaga to jednak wprawy w wycinaniu, a czasem motywy są bardzo filigranowe i nie da się ich ładnie wyciąć. Na szczęście efekt pojedynczego obrazka możemy osiągnąć w inny sposób :-) Potrzebne będą:
The easiest way to combine two different stamps into one image is by stamping them separately, cutting one out and then layering one onto the other. But this way requires good cutting skills, and sometimes images are so fine and detailed you can't actually cut them out. However, there's another way to do this :-) You'll need:

- papier i tusz
- karteczki samoprzylepne typu post-it - najlepiej większy rozmiar, żeby zmieściły się i większe stemple
- nożyczki
- stemple, które chcemy połączyć na obrazku.
- stamping paper and ink
- post-it cards - I suggest buying a bigger size so that you can stamp larger stamps too
- scissors
- the stamps you want to combine into one image

Krok 1. Wybieramy stemple. Jeśli chcecie poeksperymentować, użyjcie jakiegoś kawałka papieru  i odbijcie je "na brudno", żeby zobaczyć, jak się komponują. Kiedy wybierzecie już kompozycję, dotnijcie kartonik do odpowiedniej wielkości (można to zrobić również po odbiciu) i w wybranym miejscu odbijcie najpierw motyw, który na obrazku ma się znajdować na pierwszym planie! Ten sam motyw odbijcie na kartce post-it tak, by jak największa część znalazła się na części z klejem (oczywiście, nie stemplujemy na kleju, tylko po drugiej stronie ;-)). 
Rada: nie musicie ponownie tuszować stempla, najczęściej jest na nim wystarczająco dużo tuszu po pierwszej odbitce, żeby uzyskać w miarę czytelny obrazek, a w dodatku ułatwi Wam to kolejny krok.
Step 1. Choose your stamps. If you want to experiment, use a scrap of paper and stamp the images to check how they go together. When you have chosen your image, cut the stamping paper to the required size (you can also do it after stamping) and choose the place to stamp. First stamp the image you want to be in the foreground of your picture! Then stamp the same image again onto the post-it card so that the largest possible part of it lies on the glue-covered space (of course, don't stamp on the glue, but on the other side ;-)) 
Tip: you don't need to ink the stamp again, there's usually enough ink on it after the first stamping to get a clear image, and it also makes the next step easier.

Krok 2. Wytnijcie motyw z żółtej karteczki. Nie musicie być super dokładni, ale im bliżej konturów, tym dokładniejszy efekt połączenia. Oczywiście nie wycinajcie detali takich jak sznurówki czy listki na wybranej przeze mnie Arince :-) Wycięty obrazek naklejcie na obrazku właściwym, dokładnie w tym samym miejscu. 
Step 2. Cut out the motif stamped on the yellow card. You don't have to be super-precise, but the closer you get to the silhouette, the more perfect the blending effect. Of course you don't cut out details such as shoelaces or leaves in the Arinka motif I chose :-) Then stick the image on the proper image, covering it exactly.

Krok 3. Drugi z wybranych motywów nastemplujcie na kartoniku, na wyciętym motywie.
Rada: w przypadku stempli gumowych, pomocny będzie bloczek z podziałką, który pozwoli się "zorientować w terenie" :-)
Step 3. Stamp the other chosen image onto the card, on the yellow cut-out.
Tip: when using rubber stamps, an acrylic block with a grid will help you to position the stamp.

Krok 4. Teraz wystarczy odkleić żółtą karteczkę i...voila, Arinka siedzi na kanapie :-) 
Samoprzylepna karteczka ochroniła motyw, a słaby klej nie pozostawił śladów na obrazku :-)
Step 4. Now just peel off the yellow image and..voila, Arinka sits on the sofa :-)
The post-it card protected the image, and the glue left no residue on the image :-)

Możecie również wkomponować jeden stempel w drugi, np. "wstawić" motyw w ramkę. Ja wybrałam inny motyw Arinki, żeby umieścić ją w ramce z ptaszkami. Nie szkodzi, że Arinka jest wyższa ;-))
W tym celu podwójnie odbijcie ramkę, i z żółtej kartki wytnijcie środek ramki.
You can also place an image into another image, e.g. in a frame. I chose another Arinka to put her into the bird frame. It doesn't matter Arinka's too tall ;-))
To achieve this effect, stamp the frame twice and cut out the inside of the frame stamped onto the yellow card.

Umieśćcie żółtą karteczkę dokładnie na ramce właściwej, i odbijcie drugi motyw:
Position the yellow card exactly on the proper frame and stamp the other image:

I proszę, Arinka uśmiecha się z ramki, a jej nogi zostały na żółtej kartce ;-)
Here you go, Arinka smiles from the frame, and her legs stayed on the yellow card ;-)

Potem wystarczy swój stworzony obrazek pokolorować (albo nie ;-)) i wykorzystać, jak chcecie :-)
Then you just need to colour your created picture (or not ;-)) and use it as you please :-)

Prawda, że proste? Zachęcam do eksperymentowania :-)

Noworoczne postanowienie / New Year's Resolution

Na dzisiejszy post dla Craft4You przygotowałam propozycję do wyzwania # 16 - "Noworoczne postanowienie". Już wcześniej upatrzyłam sobie kilka arkuszy z kolekcji Periwinkle firmy Kaisercraft, i okazało się, że jest tam cytat idealnie pasujący do okazji. I tak powstał poniższy obrazek:
For my today's post for Craft4You I created a sample for the challenge # 16 - "New year's resolution". I singled out some Periwinkle papers before and then it turned out one of them includes a sentence that perfectly fits the subjects. And that's how teh following canvas came into being:

Maja Design GD - Brotherly Love

Ostatnia odsłona prac na kolejny gościnny post dla Maja Design to morskie papiery "Life by the sea" w całkowicie niemorskim klimacie :-)
The last part of my next GD post for Maja Design is marine papers "Life by the sea" employed for a totally non-marine theme :-)

Ostatni cały arkusz z kolekcji posłużył za bazę, a kolejne warstwy tworzą skrawki pozostałe z albumu i kartek, z dodatkiem kilku stempli:
I used the last full-size sheet for the background, and the particular layers are the bits left over from the album and cards, to which I added a couple of stamps.

Pozostałe dodatki skupiłam w lewym narożniku, choć LO generalnie dość oszczędne, jak na mnie ;-)
The rest of the embellishments are concentrated in the left corner, though I think the LO is rather economical as for me ;-)

Tytuł zaś powstał z połączenia naklejek i Primowej żarówki:

GD Maja Design - kartkowo / GD Maja Design - Cards

W drugiej części inspiracji dla Maja Design znalazły się kartki. Najpierw - morska:
For the second part of Maja Design inspiration I have some cards to share. Firstly - a sea one:

Papiery skomponowałam z pięknym stemplem Crafty Individuals i cytatem z Lemonade oraz paroma "morskimi" dodatkami:
I combined the papers with a beautiful stamp by Crafty Individuals, a quote stamp from Lemonade and some "sea" embellies:

Stempel podkolorowałam Distressami:
I added a bit of colour with Distress inks:

Moją ulubioną cechą papierów MD jest to, że pasują nie tylko do tematu, któremu są dedykowane. Co powiecie na kartki...kowbojskie? :-)
One of my favourite thing about MD papers is the fact they perfectly fit any theme. How about some...cowboy cards? :-)

W obu wersjach użyłam stempelków Nellie Snellen, które już jakiś czas czekały na tusz ;-) Kolorowałam również Distressami:

For both cards I used Nellie Snellen cards that waited a bit to be inked ;-)
And of course coloured with Distressed inks:

GD Maja Design - Ahoj, kamraci! / GD Maja Design - Ahoy, Ye Mateys!

Tydzień był bardzo pracowity, choć tutaj niewiele się pojawiło - ale od dzisiaj już mogę ujawniać, nad czym pracowałam :-) Dzisiaj mój kolejny gościnny post dla Maja Design i tym razem powróciłam do mojego faworyta od pierwszego wejrzenia, czyli kolekcji "Life by the sea", papierów, z których powstał mój pierwszy LO dla Maja Design, na wyzwanie na początku stycznia. 
Ta kolekcja to spełnienie marzeń każdego miłośnika tematów marynistycznych! Papiery same się układają, praca z nimi to czysta przyjemność. Dzisiaj pokażę Wam najobszerniejszą pracę, która z tych cudownych papierów powstała:
I had a very busy week, though here I shared little. But starting from today, I can share everything I was working on :-) Today is my next GD post for Maja Design and this time I returned to my first-sight favourite, the "Life by the sea" collection, i.e. the papers I used for my first MD creation, the LO for the challenge sample.
This collection is a dream-come-true for any marine-theme lover! Papers seems to compose by themselves, the work is a pure pleasure. Today I'll share the most extensive creation I made with those gorgeous papers:

Jeśli macie wrażenie, że gdzieś już coś takiego widzieliście - to macie rację :-)) To album wzorowany na tym - będzie prezentem dla drugiej części załogi :-)
If you are having a de ja vu feeling - you;re right :-) The album is another version of this one - and is going to be a gift for the other half of our crew :-)

Na okładki użyłam paneli z birmaty, okleiłam krawędzie washi tape (wbrew pozorom świetnie wzmacnia i chroni!), narożniki zabezpieczyłam metalowymi okuwkami i zawiązałam ozdoby na sprężynie. Nad ozdobieniem okładki nie męczyłam się długo, papiery zrobiły robotę za mnie ;-)) Dodałam tylko kilka stempli i tytuł z naklejek.
For the covers I used beermat panels, wrapped teh edges with tissue tape (it's really fantastic for strengthening and protecting!), secured the corners with metal protectors and tied some embellies on the wire. I didn't have to struggle much to decorate the front - gorgeous papers did the job ;-)) I just added a few stamps and sticker-made title:

Na pierwszej wewnętrznej okładce umieściłam "dane": trasę, termin, jacht i załogę. Chciałam nadać tej stronie wygląd kartki wyrwanej z dziennika pokładowego ;-)) wydrukowałam więc tekst na papierze pergaminowym, potargałam, potuszowałam i dodałam zagięcia:
On the front inner cover I placed the "data": the route, dates, yacht type and the whole crew. I wanted this page to look as if torn out from the captain's log book ;-)) so I printed the text on a parchment sheet, tore, inked and added creases:

Zasada kompozycji albumu jest również ta sama: kraftowe koperty i kartoniki tworzą strony z tagami na zdjęcia i journaling:
The design concept for this album is also the same: kraft envelopes and cards make pages with inside tags for photos and journaling:

Motyl dla babci / A Butterfly For Grandma

Zgodnie z obietnicą - dzisiaj kartka dla drugiej Babci od wnuczki Pauliny. Która lubi się wyróżniać :-) Pomyślałam więc, że nietypowe połączenie wzorów i kolorów może się sprawdzić :-) Zestawiłam więc szarość i srebro z turkusem, a rustykalną kratkę i wzór drewna z bajecznym ornamentem. Całość wieńczy romantyczny motyl:
Just as I promised, today I'm sharing the card for Paulina's other Grandma. Who likes to stand out :-) So I thought some unusual colour and pattern combo might work :-) And so I combined heray and silver with turqouise and rustic plaid and wood pattern with a fabulous ornament. And a romantic butterfly on top:

Do tego dodałam jeszcze i samą formę kartki:
I also added the form of the card itself:

Ramkę z birmaty embossowałam metalicznym srebrnym pudrem, pod światło lśni jak lustro. Dobrze komponują się tu błyszczące elementy: kryształki, perłowe ćwieki i mgiełka na kwiatach:
I embossed the beermat frame with metallic silver ep, it shines like a mirror against the light. And it goes well with other shiny elements: crystals, pearl brads and pearl mist on the flowers:

Mam nadzieję, że i druga Babcia Pauliny będzie zadowolona :-)

Różany ogód dla babci / A Rose Garden For Grandma

Wtorek jak zwykle oznacza post dla Craft4You :-)
W styczniu świętujemy Dzień Babci i Dziadka - i pewna Paulina już pomyślała o kartkach dla swoich Babć :-) Wytyczną do kartki dla jednej Babci były róże. Postanowiłam więc stworzyć cały ogród, żeby ocieplić to zimowe święto :-)
Tuesday means the usual post for Craft4You :-)
We celebrate Grandparents' Day in January, and a certain Paulina already thought of cards for her Grandmas :-) The focus for one of the cards was to be on roses. And so I decided to create a full rose garden to warm up this winter holiday :-)

Ogród tworzy najpiękniejszy różany papier, jaki znam, Chalis z kolekcji Tea Thyme. Delikatny róż podkreśliłam zielonym papierem i ozdobnymi narożnikami pokrytymi farbą Distress:
For the garden I chose the most beautiful rose paper I know, Chalis from the Tea Thyme collection. I accented the delicate pink with deep green of the background paper and ornate corners covered with Distress paint:

Główną scenkę tworzą stemplowane ptaszki z zestawu Periwinkle Birds - embossowałam je tęczowym pudrem:
For the main scene I used the stamped image from the Periwinkle Birds set - I embossed it with a rainbow ep:

...a następnie pokolorowałam Distressami i wycięłam:
...and then coloured with Distress inks and cut out:

Podobnie jak tutaj, dopasowałam też różyczki tuszując środki ciemnym różem:
I inked the rose centres with dark pink, just like I did here.

Do kartki zrobiłam też ozdobne pudełko:
I also created a decorated box for the card:

Mam nadzieję, że kartka się spodoba - i zapraszam jutro na odsłonę drugiej kartki :-)
