The most joyous celebration of the year this time is marred by the global pandemic. An invisible virus imposed many restrictions upon our everyday life which seem to efficiently mute the joy of celebrating a victory of Life over death, as the situation around us looks quite the opposite. But little as we can do about it, we can at least join the fight and protect ourselves and others by - paradoxical as it is - distancing from one another. And so this year I decided not to send Easter cards, for the safety of my loved ones but also for protection of post workers (it's actually an act of mercy as our cooperation doesn't always run smoothly ;-)) I made one card and will send a photo of it with my wishes.
Kartka powstała z najnowszej kolekcji Maja Design, Little Street Cafe, stąd pokazałam ją również w moim poście DT.
I made the card using Maja Design's latest collection, Little Street Cafe, and so I shared it also in my DT post. Although I make Easter egg cards almost every year, I try to include a different symbol each time. And now I chose the Paschal candle - a symbol of the Risen Christ who brings light and dispels darkness. Isn't it a perfect message for this year?
